Assistant Project Manager Job Description:
An Assistant Project Manager works with the Project Manager to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of a specific project. They assist the Project Manager in hiring subcontractors and work with the engineers, architects, and vendors. They also work to secure building permits and licenses, as well as delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites. In addition, Assistant Project Managers assist the Project Manager in preparing detailed reports. They report to Project Managers and Project Superintendents. Assistant Superintendent Job Description:
A Project Assistant Superintendent works with the Superintendent to plan and ensure the coordination of construction projects. They are responsible for supervising the construction project. Assistant Superintendents are responsible for working with the Superintendent to ensure the quality of work and materials installed and ensure that the project schedule and project budget are followed. They ensure that the subcontractors are installing materials per plans and specifications and they monitor the sub-contractors progress. They report to Project Superintendents and Project Managers. Project Coordinator Job Description:
A Project Coordinator works with Project Managers, Superintendents, and the Controller to coordinate subcontractors. They are responsible for maintaining both hard and electronic copies of project documentation and handle financial queries. Project Coordinators ensure that BC Construction Group has all necessary documentation in hand before work begins in the field. They also provide in office support to the Project Manager and Superintendent. They report to the Director of Construction. Click here to apply.
