As part of ATD’s National Rollout Program, BCCG provided complete Design-Build services, using load-bearing, concrete tilt-up panels and structural steel framing as a cost-efficient solution for this facility. The warehouse has a 4,750-square-foot office and 17 dock positions of varying heights. The interior has a 32-foot clear height and includes a 60-foot speed bay for optimized loading.
At this project site, BCCG found that soil conditions were not ideal for construction. The solution involved mechanically working the unsuitable soils by mixing in usable soils to provide the proper soil makeup for construction.
In preparation for construction, BCCG coordinated the relocation of power lines with the local utility company. Overall, BCCG satisfied the Client, completing this fast-track project in 9 months.
