The first building of a multiple-project relationship with American Tire Distributors (ATD), BCCG provided Design-Build services and used load-bearing, tilt-up concrete panels to construct the facility. The building includes a 4,750-square-foot office and 78,032-square-feet of warehouse space. With an interior clear height of 32’, the interior 60’ speed bay is accessed by 17 docks of varying height.
As a result of conducting a thorough site evaluation, BCCG recognized that the original property would not be a cost-effective location due to the topography of the site. The BCCG team went to work and found a new, suitable location in the same vicinity. It met ATD’s functional needs in the same way as the original site, but was more cost effective and provided savings to the project.
Because of BCCG’s follow through on its commitment to providing each client with customized solutions, ATD converted the relationship with BCCG from a single-building contract into a multiple-facility National Rollout Program, consisting of 11 additional warehouse and distribution centers.
